Why pushing through breaks me now

kept trying to maintain like i wasn’t broken. worked project management until march, couldn’t follow sprint boards, memory gaps during standups. then the crash came. didn’t rest enough between tasks, pushed thinking i could power through like before.

now anything beyond light activity costs me two days minimum. PEM isn’t tiredness. it’s your body saying no so hard you can’t argue. i’ve stopped saying i’m busy.

i’m managing a crash from days ago. does the cost of pushing get worse over time? tolerating it used to be possible, now it just… isn’t?
