Why did i never know my actual flare rate before tracking

i used to just tell people ‘it was a bad month’ or something vague like that. idk how to describe it, but i remember thinking my attacks were just random acts of god whenever they hit.

then i started logging everything, even the little prodrome symptoms and what the weather was doing. it was wild seeing all those specific days laid out.

did anyone else find that quantifying your triggers or flare rate actually changed how you think about it? feels less like bad luck now.

The confound was never luck, just the scale you were using to measure it.
