When the crash comes two days late

so i’ve been tracking for three months now, and the pattern is brutal. the day i overdid it? feel mostly fine. next day?

still ok, maybe even good. that’s the trap. you think it worked, you weren’t broken after all. then day three hits and i’m flattened.

can’t get off the couch, brain fog so thick i can barely read. this happened last thursday - hit 11k steps b/w work stuff and a walk, thinking i was managing ok. felt fine through friday. saturday i couldn’t think straight, my heart was doing weird rhythm stuff, and i just…

crashed. only reason i know it was thursday is because i logged it. living moment-to-moment without tracking? i’d have no idea what set it off.

that’s how bad the delay gap is. the actual question i can’t find a real answer to: does the delay change based on how much you overdid it, or is it always gonna be ~48 hours? bc if it’s truly a fixed delay, that changes everything abt pacing strategy.
