Managing epilepsy feels like juggling a million things at once—tracking seizures, figuring out triggers, and making sure meds are actually working. Sleep has been a huge game-changer for me. I used to stay up late all the time (bad habit, I know), but once I actually stuck to a real sleep routine… my seizures became more predictable and my acid reflux chilled out too. Same with diet—cutting back on processed foods, caffeine, and anything too spicy (which I was already doing for GERD, ugh) seemed to help both conditions. Stress is another big one. When my anxiety flares up, my seizures get worse… and so does my reflux, which just makes everything feel ten times harder. Keeping track of it all in an app has made a huge difference—especially when I need to look back and connect the dots. It’s not perfect, but at least now I feel like I have some control instead of just waiting for the next episode to hit.
