Five months out from a rotator cuff repair now. Started logging ROM at week six - my PT kept asking “how has it felt this week” and I genuinely had no idea, so I started writing things down before each session. Pain score, sleep quality, ROM in degrees. Basic stuff. What I didn’t expect was the sleep line. I added it mostly as a noise variable - something to explain unexpected dips in ROM if they appeared. Three weeks in I pulled up the correlation view on CareClinic just to see if anything jumped out, not expecting much. The pattern was hard to miss. Nights under six hours, or sleep quality scored below 5, next morning ROM was consistently 3-4 degrees behind trend. The BPC run was concurrent with that whole period, so I still can’t separate the variables cleanly. But the sleep signal was louder than anything else in the data. That genuinely surprised me. If anyone else is tracking a recovery protocol alongside sleep, curious whether you saw something similar.
