What is the scope and timeframe of correlation calculation?

Are one’s medication’s, nutrition, or activity on one day included in the calculus when considering correlations to symptoms (or lack of symptoms) that arise hours or days later?

For example, when it comes to digestive issues, bowel movements and such, symptoms on one day are largely determined by one’s diet, fluid intake, and medication’s the day prior. Will the app correlate what I did yesterday with my symptoms today?

Also, does the app zoom out and look at long-term trends when making correlations? For instance, could it show that a new medication gradually improves symptoms over the course of weeks?

Thanks!

Hello, the timeframe is generally the currently selected duration in Logs/Charts. If you zoom out and thus provide more data, it will crunch it to provide a more accurate correlation.

Currently, its calculated on a daily basis. We will be adding the functionality to compare + Days in v4.3 as that is a great idea!
