compounded sema, 0.5mg, week 18, down 22 lb. wanted to flag something I haven’t seen named cleanly anywhere. for the past ~6 weeks I’ve been running cold on days 2-3 post-injection in a way that’s separate from the GI stuff and separate from the food noise drop. fingers go white-tipped, shoulders tense up, I’m wearing a hoodie when nobody else in the house is cold. by day 5 it’s gone. not every cycle but maybe 4 out of the last 6. things I ruled out before posting:
- not iron, labs were fine in March
- not thyroid, TSH checked at the same draw
- not just “eating less so colder”, protein was actually higher those days bc I was front-loading
- cycle phase doesn’t track w it, I checked what lines up: timing matches the Cmax window for sema on a ~5 day half-life, peak plasma lands days 2-3 not 48hr flat like people keep saying. so if there’s a vasomotor or autonomic piece to GLP-1 signaling at peak, that’s when you’d see it. I’m not claiming I know the mechanism, that’s just the timing math. the practical fix that helped: I stopped trying to push through cardio on day 2-3 and moved my lifting block to days 4-6 of the cycle instead. food noise is louder then anyway so the protein floor is easier to hit when I’m actually moving. anyone else getting this on sema specifically? curious if it shows up on tirz the same way or if it’s a sema thing.
