Two months HRT, labs look fine, rage still won't quit

started HRT eight weeks ago. estradiol came up, progesterone in range, labs look stable. my endocrinologist basically said “you should feel better by now,” so like, why don’t i? the rage used to be this constant low hum i blamed on work stress.

now it’s these sharp spikes. i’ll be fine for three days, then something small happens (miscommunication on a job, late delivery, traffic) and i just detonate. full adrenaline. shaking.

that “i want to punch a wall” feeling even though the thing that set me off was genuinely minor. doc doesn’t really have answers. “try adjusting the dose” or “give it more time.” so i started tracking it - when it hits, what the day looked like before, sleep, food, if i skipped meds. because there’s probably a pattern.

maybe it’s not that HRT isn’t working. maybe it’s the timing or there’s a window where my levels tank. the thing that gets to me is wondering if this is just who i am now, or if there’s actually a lever to pull. anyone else dealing with rage spikes even after getting hormones optimized?

like, does it eventually settle?
