Tracking made me realize i was way off about frequency

I thought I had a decent sense of my migraine pattern. Like, “yeah some months are worse than others.” Then my neurologist asked if I logged anything and I realized I was just… guessing. Bad at guessing.

Started tracking maybe 8 months ago, just date + whether it was full attack or prodrome or just the warning signs. Nothing fancy. Within two weeks I saw something genuinely shocking: I was hitting 12-15 days a month where something was happening. Not all full attacks, but the prodrome or lingering postdrome counts too.

I thought I had 8-10 bad days. I actually had 12-15. That changed everything. Could actually show my neurologist the real pattern - which weeks clustered, which days were prodrome versus full attacks, which ones needed prevention strategy.

The data made the argument. Got on Ajovy after that conversation. Numbers matter because you can’t argue with them. Does anyone else massively underestimate their frequency before tracking?
