i’ve been on retatrutide for about 2 months now, 4mg dose, and just had a tia 10 days ago. my thyroid blood tests have always shown a suppressed tsh, and like many of us, my bad cholesterol is too high. i’m now on blood thinners, which is a whole new world for me. what’s really got me wondering is how my peptide stack might be interacting with my thyroid meds.
has anyone else experienced anything similar? i’ve been tracking my crashes for months, and i’ve noticed a pretty consistent 3-4 day lag between trigger and pem. but since starting retatrutide, that lag window seems to be shifting. sometimes i’ll feel fine for a few days after overdoing it, and then the brain fog hits like a switch.
i’ve also been wearing a cheap heart rate monitor to see if it can give me an earlier warning than the day-count lag alone. found a rough threshold - staying under about 110 bpm for a few days after overdoing it seems to head off the crash. but it’s not a hard and fast rule, and i’m still trying to figure out what’s going on. anyone have any insights on how retatrutide might be affecting their thyroid or heart rate?
and how are you tracking your symptoms and dose adjustments? i just log every flare + what set it off in careclinic so i can spot the window, but i’m curious if anyone has a better system. the reminder nudges are flexible enough that i can snooze without it forgetting, which matters more than it sounds. anyway, would love to hear from anyone with similar experiences or advice on how to work through this peptide-thyroid interaction.
