Things helped me get through Psoriasis

So, living with psoriasis can feel like a constant battle – the itching, the scaling, and sometimes, even the embarrassment when flare-ups hit at the worst times. I’ve tried a bunch of treatments, and some have actually helped me manage things better. I started with hydrocortisone creams for flare-ups and it gave me a bit of relief, but I also added in aloe vera for that soothing, cooling feeling when things get too red and inflamed. Lately, I’ve been diving into light therapy, and even though it’s a bit of a process, I’ve noticed my patches getting smaller and less angry, especially with UVB light sessions. I’ve also read that omega-3s from foods like salmon, and vitamin D supplements might help calm inflammation. Still, I feel like I could be doing more. I’ve been using a symptom tracker app, and it’s been awesome for seeing what might be triggering my psoriasis, whether it’s stress, certain foods, or seasonal changes. Now I’m wondering… what has worked best for you guys? Any go-to creams, light therapy tips, or lifestyle changes that really made a difference? Would love to hear about your experiences and if you’ve found anything that truly helps you manage better. Let’s swap tips and support each other!
