Taking care of myself through depression

Dealing with depression can feel like you’re just stuck in a loop, right? But over time, I’ve learned that taking small, intentional steps really does make a difference. For me, getting outside, even if it’s just for a quick walk, helps clear my head. Moving my body is tough, but when I do, even a little exercise, it helps lift my mood. I’ve also been focusing on eating better and trying to sleep on a routine—both of which, surprisingly, make a huge impact. Setting boundaries and making sure I’m staying connected with the people I trust has been essential too, even on the hard days. I’m not perfect at it, but every little step adds up.
