Stuck on levothyroxine

dunno. been on 75mcg levothyroxine for four months now and my labs finally look normal. TSH is in range, free T3 isn’t dipping like it was. but the weight thing is still stuck.

I’ve been eating clean, same workouts as last year when I was losing naturally. scale hasn’t moved. it’s like my body is just not agreeing with the numbers. I’ve been tracking everything, trying to find a pattern.

cold hands, brain fog, the works. and I did notice that when my free T3 dips, I get those energy crashes. but even with the meds, it’s not like I’m feeling a huge difference. I’m starting to think it’s not just about the thyroid meds, but about the metabolic piece too.

I’ve been reading about CGM and how it can show you what’s going on with your glucose throughout the day. I’m curious about trying it out, even though my A1C is fine. maybe there’s something going on that the labs aren’t catching. has anyone else had a similar experience with levothyroxine and weight loss?

or tried CGM with normal A1C? I’m just trying to figure out what’s going on and how to get unstuck. I’ve been using a tracker to log my symptoms and patterns, and it’s been helpful to see things laid out. I might even export the data as a CSV to share with my doc at my next appt, see if she can make sense of it.

cold hands and brain fog when your labs look “normal” is exactly what gets me too. it’s so frustrating when your body is just not agreeing with the numbers.
