the ‘will my natural production bounce back’ question comes up a lot when someone stops a short test C run, and the usual answer is ‘only 3 shots, you’ll be fine.’ maybe that’s right. but i keep thinking the framing is off. test C has roughly an 8-day half-life. stopping after 3 injections doesn’t mean exogenous levels drop to zero in a few days – you’re still running elevated blood concentrations for weeks post-last-pin. 3-5 half-lives to clear is 24-40 days. HPTA suppression during that clearance window is still happening even if you’re not actively injecting. so the question I’d actually want answered: when people report ‘recovered fine after stopping early,’ are they tracking LH, FSH, and TT during the clearance curve itself, or just at week 6 or 8 post-stop after levels have already normalized? anyone have labs from that intermediate window – like week 2 or 3 after last pin? curious whether the ‘short exposure = fast recovery’ assumption holds when you account for the actual pharmacokinetics.
