Stomach pain after endoscopy biopsy

Hello everyone, I had an endoscopy a few days ago after my procedure I am having stomach pain that feels like when you have gas trapped in your stomach. These days passed I felt a lot of pain in my stomach and sometimes it disappeared. Is this normal? My stools are pretty normal, no blood or anything like that. Can anyone advise? I have some other chronic health issues so I am not looking to add another one to the list!

While some gas pain after an endoscopy is common (due to air used during the procedure), persistent pain for a few days is worth mentioning to your doctor. They can advise if it’s normal for you and your health history. Since you have other health issues, best to err on the side of caution. Hope you feel better soon!

It’s common to experience discomfort after an endoscopy due to air trapped in your stomach. However, if the pain continues, please call your doctor. Try to also check your symptoms.

Thank you so much @sympathy.01!
