i’m 9 weeks pp now and my dh is still sleeping through the 3am feed. it’s not like he’s not trying to help, but it feels like i’m shouldering all the responsibility at night. my mil says i should just wake him up, but honestly, i don’t want to deal with a cranky dh on top of a cranky baby.
does anyone else have this issue? how do you handle it? i feel like i’m already running on fumes and this just adds to the exhaustion.
my gp says it’s normal for dads to not be as alert at night, but it’s hard not to take it personally. anyone have any advice or just someone to vent to?
