Sleep still bad on levo

dunno. been on 75mcg levothyroxine for four months now and my TSH is finally in range. but sleep is still kinda trash. i’ve been tracking it pretty closely and i’m starting to think it’s not just the thyroid stuff.

like, my free T3 dips are still happening sometimes, but even when they’re not, sleep is just not great. i’ve been using my apple watch to log when i’m going to bed and when i wake up, and it’s been helpful to see the patterns. but even with that, i’m not really sure what to do about it. has anyone else had this issue?

i feel like i’ve tried everything - melatonin, magnesium, the whole works. and yeah, i know sleep is a complex thing, but it’s just so frustrating when you feel like you’re doing everything right and it’s still not working. i mentioned this before, but i’m really starting to think that my metabolic stuff is more complicated than just my thyroid. anyone have any ideas?

what’s ‘trash’ sleep actually look like for you?

i get what you mean about sleep being “kinda trash” even when the numbers look okay. with fibromyalgia, my labs often show nothing but i’m still totally wiped out, like the sleep isn’t actually helping me recover

when you say “not just the thyroid stuff,” did you track sleep quality against things like total daily light exposure, not just screen time but natural light during the day?
