Sleep still a mess at 21w pp

i’m 21 weeks pp now and sleep is still all over the place. wren is 5 months old and sleeping better, but i’m not. i’ve been tracking my sleep in careclinic and it’s weird to see the patterns.

some nights i’m up every 2hrs, others i sleep 4hrs straight. does anyone else have this issue? i feel like i’m doing everything right - bedtime routine, dark room, cool temp - but my body just won’t cooperate.

i’m starting to think it’s not just the baby waking me up, but also my own anxiety. anyone have tips on how to calm down at night?

those ‘weird patterns’ your tracking shows are often the signal, not just noise, bc postpartum endocrine shifts mean ‘doing everything right’ has a different physiological threshold.

your observation that ‘sleep is still all over the place’ at 21 weeks pp, even with a better-sleeping baby, really highlights how long it takes for some endocrine systems to recalibrate after pregnancy. the physiological recovery timeline for sleep regulation often lags behind infant sleep normalcy, bc it’s less about the external environment and more about internal hormonal

body just won’t cooperate, same

weird patterns are the worst, especially when you’re doing all the tracking and it still feels random. even with the charts in careclinic, sometimes it just looks like noise and not a clear cause for why things are off.
