Sleep and glucose spikes

i’ve been tracking my sleep and glucose levels for a few mos now, and i noticed something interesting. on nights where i get less than 7hrs of sleep, my glucose spikes are way more pronounced the next day. like, my fasting glucose will be 10-15 points higher than usual.

i’m not sure if it’s the sleep itself or the fact that i’m more stressed when i don’t get enough sleep, but it’s definitely a pattern i’ve seen. has anyone else noticed this? i’ve been using the correlation view in my tracker to try and pinpoint the relationship between sleep and glucose, and it’s been pretty helpful.

anyway, just thought i’d share my observation and see if anyone else has any insights
