Started metformin Monday and the acne is actually worse. Not nausea like I was warned about; just my skin getting worse.
Couple that with hair shedding from the high androgens, and I look like I’m falling apart even though my labs should be improving. Anyone else’s skin get worse mid-treatment?
Or is this the ‘gets worse before better’ thing? My endocrinologist just said give it time but I genuinely don’t know if I wait months or if I’m missing something obvious.
