tried semaglutide on a coworker’s rec. 0.25mg subq weekly, ramped every week. wanted to test appetite suppression during a cut. week 1-3: down 4-5 lbs per week, felt solid. week 4 hit different. jawline softened. cheekbones flattened. skin looked deflated. exhaustion was brutal, 14 hour shifts felt impossible. objective: scale down, mirror shows real collagen loss. not angle or water. subjective: couldn’t stay awake. caffeine did nothing. dropped to 0.25mg. face bounced back week 2. fatigue lifted. still losing, just slower. for me, semaglutide works but not at that dose. fatigue and flat face weren’t worth the appetite suppression. might revisit at maintenance levels, but right now the trade-off doesn’t make sense.
