Regular vs zero-sugar soda on tirz: two separate problems, not one

147 mg/dL at 2 hours post-Coke, down from 168 pre-Mounjaro, looks like progress until the 3-hour read sits at 131. The spike is flatter and more prolonged, not gone. Delayed gastric emptying shifts the absorption window to 60-90 min instead of 30-40, so the glucose load is the same, just spread differently. For T2D that’s a real distinction. The carbonation piece is separate and hits Coke Zero equally. CO2 plus delayed gastric emptying plus injection-day nausea equals real GI amplification, especially weeks 1-8. I cut carbonated drinks on injection day specifically, not permanently - that’s the distinction nobody makes. After month 4 I’m back to Coke Zero off injection days without issue. I started logging injection day vs off-day in CareClinic alongside CGM exports and the carbonation-nausea correlation showed up clearly once I had a few weeks of entries. For regular Coke, the CGM handles that question directly. Is the prolonged tail a dose-level effect, or are others seeing it at 2.5mg too?
