Rashes and bumps on butt

I had protected sex about 10 days ago, but we did have unprotected oral both ways. Four days ago, I noticed a rash on my butt cheek, and it’s the only place where I have any symptoms. Could this be a first outbreak limited to just that area? I don’t have any other symptoms, just the rash and some bumps

Thank you for sharing your experience. It’s understandable to be concerned about any new symptoms following sexual activity. While a rash and bumps on your butt cheek could potentially be related to a sexually transmitted infection (STI), including herpes, it’s not possible to provide a definitive diagnosis without a professional evaluation.

Herpes can sometimes cause localized symptoms, but it typically presents with additional signs, such as blisters or sores, and can affect multiple areas. It’s also important to note that various other conditions can cause similar symptoms, so a proper assessment is crucial.

I recommend seeing a healthcare provider for a thorough examination. They can offer appropriate testing and guidance based on your symptoms and recent activities. Early diagnosis and treatment are important for managing STIs and ensuring your health and well-being.
