Preworkout while postpartum and on iron supplements - heart racing? fwiw

so i’ve been trying to get my energy back at 4 months pp (it’s been rough, the afternoon crashes are real) and i’m thinking about adding a preworkout to help me get through actual gym time instead of just walking around my house like a zombie. but i’m also on iron because my ferritin was bottomed out. i tried taking them together once and had this super weird feeling - my heart was absolutely pounding, like disproportionate to what i was actually doing, and i felt kind of lightheaded and tingly in my hands?

hasn’t happened before i started iron. has anyone else mixed preworkout with iron supplements while postpartum? am i just being paranoid or is that actually not safe? the fatigue is winning right now and i’m desperate but not desperate enough to faint at the gym lol
