Pinning subq when lean - the love handles approach

I’m quite lean year-round, so finding injection sites during my rehab was a real puzzle. Love handles did end up being my best option, though I’ll be honest - at my leanest, there wasn’t much to work with. Pinching 2 inches lateral from the spine at waist level gave me just enough subQ space. Rotate sides to avoid repeated spots. Thighs didn’t work for me. The skin was too thin and i was never confident I wasn’t going too deep. Tried once, didn’t repeat it. The practical thing: if you’re actually this lean, intramuscular might be your better choice. Quads or glutes have proper depth, and absorption is fine for most peptides. Ask whoever prescribed it - they might recommend IM depending on the compound anyway.
