Perimenopause sleep chaos

i’ve been tracking my sleep for mos now and it’s all over the place since perimenopause started. anyone else notice their sleep architecture changing? i’m talking vivid dreams, insomnia, and these weird waking moments where i’m disoriented. my doc says it’s hormonal but that doesn’t really help me sleep better.

i’ve tried melatonin, magnesium, the whole works. what’s weird is that my cortisol levels seem fine, but my free t3 is all over the map. wondering if there’s a connection there. has anyone else found that their thyroid meds affect their sleep patterns?

fwiw, i’m on levothyroxine and it’s been a game changer for my energy, but sleep is still a mess. anyone have any tips or insights?

free t3 all over the map, is that same time of day labs?

i know that feeling when a doc says “it’s hormonal but that doesn’t really help me sleep better” and it’s like they’re just shrugging. when you’re saying your free t3 is “all over the map,” what kind of ranges are we talking about day-to-day or week-to-week, and are those labs consistently pulled at the same time? makes a difference trying to find any kind of pattern.
