Ovulation timing when cycles range 32 to 45 days

so spiro brought my LH and testosterone into range three months ago. my gyn was like “your cycles should regulate now.” except they didn’t. i’m tracking everything - cycle day, flow, LH test strips, temps - and i keep seeing 32 days, then 45, then 38. zero pattern.

standard ttc math says ovulation is day 14, plan for days 12-16, done. but if your cycle could be 32 or 45, that window is useless. i’m logging when i test positive on the LH strips so at least i can see when it actually happened for me, but that’s reactive. for ttc you need to predict, not confirm after the fact.

what kills me: the fertility advice doesn’t change based on your cycle reality. “just track ovulation” sounds smart until you realize it only tells you AFTER it happened. when you’re trying to conceive, you need to know it’s coming. has anyone else managed ttc planning with cycles that vary by 13+ days?

did they eventually stabilize on spiro, or did you just accept the unpredictability and work around it?
