I’ve had herpes for 3 years (diagnosed at 29) and take daily medication. For the past 3 weeks, I’ve had a persistent, painful outbreak limited to my pubic area (not genitals). The sores, about 6-8, are as bad as my first outbreak, becoming pus-filled and eraser-head sized. When they try to heal, scabbing and pulling from loose underwear cause bleeding. Anyone experience this? Advice on managing it?
