I’ve been noticing my hands go ice cold and about an hour later the brain fog hits - like properly can’t remember things, can’t focus at work. Started tracking it and it’s definitely not random. My free T3 has been on the lower end, which messes with temperature regulation. Looking back at my worst brain fog days, they line up with when my hands are just numb.
I’m wondering if it’s circulation or if my thyroid still isn’t optimized even though TSH is technically normal. My endocrinologist mentioned it but didn’t really have a plan. So I’m managing it myself by noticing the pattern - when my hands get cold during the day, I know not to plan anything cognitively demanding for the next few hours. Has anyone else noticed this combo?
Like, did adjusting your thyroid dose or adding something else actually help? Or is this just what happens when your free T3 is low?
