MORNING ANXIETY FEELING Sertraline

Hi Everyone,

I hope you’re all doing well. I wanted to reach out and share a bit about my ongoing struggle with anxiety, which has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I’ve tried various SSRIs in an effort to manage it, but finding the right balance has been challenging.

In January 2020, I decided to stop taking my sertraline, believing that I was in a good place and no longer needed it. Unfortunately, by July, I found myself in a difficult spot, and my anxiety levels began to rise significantly.

I’ve recently resumed taking 50mg of sertraline about 11 days ago, but I’m still having a hard time, especially in the mornings and throughout the day. I often wake up feeling deeply upset and spend the day trying to hold back tears. As the evening approaches, around 7 or 8 o’clock, I usually start to feel a bit more relaxed and hopeful for a better start the next day. However, this sense of calm seems to vanish by morning, and I’m back to facing the same struggles.

Is anyone else experiencing something similar? I’m really hoping to hear from others who might have faced or are facing the same difficulties. Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for listening.
