i’m 15 wks in and my maternity leave runs out in 3 weeks. i know it’s not the same as actually having the baby, but the financial stress is already getting to me. my partner and i have been trying to plan ahead, but it’s hard when you don’t know what to expect.
we’re looking at a significant pay cut once i’m on leave and it’s making me anxious. has anyone else dealt w/ this? how did you prepare financially?
i feel like we’re just scraping by as it is and i don’t know how we’ll make it work. did you have to make any major changes or sacrifices? i’m just trying to get a sense of what to expect and how to make this work for our little family.
