Mapped my errand window by pain scale

spent two years doing errands on pain days and wondering why Saturdays were always 7s. then i actually tracked it for a month. turns out tuesday is the only day i reliably wake up at a 4 instead of 5. grocery store + pharmacy on tuesday, post office/dry cleaning split across wednesday if i’m being smart.

friday errands? nope. by end of work week I’m already at a 6. the thing nobody tells you: it’s not just about doing less.

it’s about which day you do it and in what order. parking lot walking kills me way worse than standing in aisles with a cart. so now i block errands by pain level and day of week. Tuesday 4s go to big-trip days.

Wednesday 5s get one small thing. Friday I order delivery and stay home. i log this in careclinic now so i can actually show my pain clinic doctor the pattern instead of “worse on some days for no reason.” took two years to realize the reason was me trying to do a full week’s errands on whatever day suited the rest of my schedule instead of what my body could handle. does anyone else have an errand day that’s better than others, or is this just me trying to impose order on a body that doesn’t cooperate?
