Managing GERD without losing my mind

Dealing with GERD is a never-ending experiment. I’ve cut out caffeine, spicy foods, and late-night snacks, but let’s be real—sometimes acid reflux still shows up uninvited. Antacids help in the moment, but I’ve also been trying H2 blockers and tweaking my meals to see if that makes a bigger difference. Sleeping with my head elevated is annoying but does seem to help with nighttime heartburn!! Lately, I’ve been looking into things like licorice root and digestive-friendly meals to keep the acid at bay. It’s all trial and error, but slowly figuring out what actually works for me.
