i’ve been reading about how lupus can be passed down through generations and it’s got me thinking about my own family history. ngl my grandma had lupus and now i do too. i wonder if there’s a way to track the genetic component of this disease and how it affects our symptoms and treatment outcomes
genetic risk is one thing but “track the genetic component of this disease” seems kinda vague to me, priya.labs, when you say “i wonder if there’s a way to track” are you thinking of specific genetic markers or tests
