i’ve been trying to track my fatigue patterns since being diagnosed with lupus 7 months ago. It’s been a challenge to distinguish between lupus fatigue and just being tired from daily life. I’ve noticed that my fatigue tends to worsen after certain activities, like playing soccer or even just walking in the sun for too long. The sun thing is real, I got a rash from one soccer game and it took me weeks to recover.
I’m starting to think that my body is more sensitive to stress and exertion than I realized. Has anyone else experienced this? I’ve been keeping a log of my symptoms and I’ve noticed that my fatigue tends to follow a pattern. It’s usually worse in the mornings and evenings, and better in the afternoons.
I’ve also noticed that certain foods seem to trigger my fatigue, like gluten and dairy. I’m not sure if this is related to my lupus or just a coincidence, but I’m trying to cut back on those foods to see if it makes a difference. I mentioned before that I’ve been having some weird heart palpitations, and I’m wondering if that’s related to my fatigue too. in my lupus and weird heart post, it’s been really scary to deal with these unpredictable symptoms.
But I’m trying to stay positive and focus on finding ways to manage my fatigue. Does anyone else have any tips for dealing with lupus fatigue? I’d love to hear about your experiences and what works for you. I’m still learning what’s lupus and what’s just life, and it’s helpful to hear from others who are going through similar things.
