I’ve been trying out journaling during my cancer journey, and honestly, it’s been more helpful than I expected. Some days, it’s just a brain dump of all the overwhelming thoughts, and other days, I use prompts to reflect on the little wins (because even small victories matter!). I recently read about how journaling can actually help with emotional processing and stress — and it makes sense.
I’ve tried just free-writing whatever’s on my mind, but I also saw some ideas about writing letters to your disease (which sounds intense but kinda powerful) or keeping a gratitude list to stay grounded.
But now using the CareClinic app to keep track of my entries, and it’s been super convenient, especially on days when writing by hand feels too exhausting. It’s nice having everything in one place — my thoughts, symptoms, and even reminders.
