Is it still a migraine if it never fully goes away anyway

so i’ve got this like… baseline thing now? it’s not an attack. it’s just a constant 2-3/10 headache on the right side. tbh some mornings i wake up and it’s already there. sometimes it gets worse (then i reach for nurtec) but it doesn’t ever actually leave. my neurologist asked how many migraine days i had in june and i couldn’t answer. do i count the bad ones (those are 7-8/10 with photophobia)? or literally every day since the baseline is technically a migraine? so i just said “all of them? some of them?” and he looked confused. here’s what messes with me: i used to think taking my preventive (ajovy now, changed from aimovig) would stop migraines. but the baseline doesn’t care. it just… stays there. i notice it, i’m tired more, my neck is tighter. i’ve stopped mentioning it because what’s the point? i log everything anyway but it’s made me wonder if i’m just managing the concept of pain differently now rather than actually treating it. anyone else got a baseline that won’t quit?
