Hey everyone! So, I’ve been living with hemophilia A for quite some time now, and managing those spontaneous bleeds can really be a challenge. I’ve been on factor VIII replacement therapy for years, and while it definitely helps, it’s never been a perfect solution. Recently, I switched to extended half-life factor concentrates (like Eloctate), and it’s made such a difference. Fewer infusions, more stable clotting—it’s been a game-changer for me. I also started focusing on joint protection through physical therapy and low-impact exercise, which has really helped reduce the number of joint bleeds and made recovery quicker. Honestly, I’ve been feeling a lot more confident in my daily life. Just wanted to share my experience in case it helps anyone else out there!
