Here's what’s helped me living with Orthostatic Intolerance and POTS

Dealing with orthostatic intolerance or POTS can feel like a constant balancing act. For me, small changes have made a big difference—like drinking way more water than I used to, adding extra salt to my meals, and wearing compression socks on tougher days. Slowly easing into exercise has helped too, though it’s definitely a “listen-to-your-body” kind of process.

I’ve also learned how much lifestyle tweaks matter—avoiding triggers like standing still for too long or skipping meals. It’s not perfect, and some days are harder than others, but figuring out what works (and what doesn’t) has been a huge step forward in managing the symptoms.
