Got called out mid-prodrome yesterday

got called for being slow on shift. my senior was right, imo. i was dragging, not myself. but i was mid-prodrome.

tingling started 15 mins before dispatch, and i knew the attack was coming. pushed through anyway. spent the night recovering. so now i’ve got the work feedback plus the migraine hangover.

anyone else work somewhere you can’t just step back? how do you explain the prodrome without it sounding like excuses?
