Gimme vs compounding pharmacy: which actually works for CKD patients

tried gimme to add a GLP-1 alongside my kidney meds. nope. the lack of dose clarity beforehand was a dealbreaker - i can’t just accept whatever they approve if it affects my potassium or phosphorus load. already have a nephrologist managing this. switched to a local compounding pharmacy instead. they had me talk to my neph first, confirmed the dose works with my stage 3a labs (eGFR mid-50s), and didn’t charge me until everything was locked in. gimme’s model might work for people without chronic disease to manage around. for CKD patients? fwiw you need dose clarity BEFORE the card charge. full stop.
