not on TRT myself, I run a metabolic protocol and a couple recovery cycles, but the methodology problem here is the same one I see everywhere, so I’ll say it plainly. you changed four things at once and then asked the data a question it can’t answer. 300, then 520, then 600, then 300, then 40mg daily. that’s not a protocol, that’s five different doses in a week. test E ester clears slow, half-life sits around 4-5 days, so at day 7 you aren’t anywhere near steady state, you’re sitting on the chaotic tail of a front-load that’s still redistributing. front-loading to skip the wait sounds smart and it doesn’t hold the way you hope. I learned the same lesson on a smaller compound. plasma does what plasma does on its own schedule, and slamming the front end just gives you a messier curve to read, not a faster signal. and here’s the part nobody says: “I don’t feel anything” at day 7 is the wrong measurement. feel is the noisiest read there is. mood and libido bounce on sleep, stress, water, whatever you ate. you can’t tell fake hormone from a bad week off a feeling. so before you decide you got scammed: - pick one steady dose and hold it. 4-6 weeks, no jumping.
- get a trough draw at week 6, same time of day relative to your shot. a number tells you if it’s real. your gut doesn’t.
- track one thing you can’t fake. morning resting HR, a lift you can load, sleep. not vibes. stacking a verdict on top of a baseline you never established just buries the signal you’re trying to find. it’s not absent, it’s unreadable. I keep my dose days and a quick check-in note in CareClinic so the week count and a couple markers sit in the same view, otherwise you lose track of what you took when, which is exactly what happened here. ymmv, and get the bloodwork before you spend another dollar guessing.
