Everything you need to know about mrIs

been away for a bit. so i’m gonna share my experience with mrIs. i’ve had a few now, and it’s always a bit of a nightmare. first, the prep is kinda annoying - you gotta stop taking certain meds, and make sure you don’t have any metal on you… then, the actual scan is loud and cramped. but the worst part is the waiting… waiting for the results, waiting to see if there’s any new lesion activity. my neuro always says it’s gonna be a few days, but it feels like forever… i’ve started tracking my mrIs, just to see if there’s any patterns. like, i’ve noticed that i always seem to have more lesions after a relapse. idk if that’s common, but it’s something i’m gonna bring up with my doc next appt… anyone else have any mri horror stories or tips?

that “waiting for the results, waiting to see if there’s any new lesion activity” is the real grind, but for me it’s more about catching anything that confirms a flare. i’ve got a couple of
