i’ve been on ozempic for 6 wks, mostly for weight loss, but i have psoriatic arthritis too. first 4 wks were great, lost some weight, energy was up. but last 2 wks i’ve had a pretty bad enthesitis flare - heel pain, ankle pain, all that fun stuff.
i’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this. i know ozempic is mostly used for diabetes and weight loss, but it’s supposed to have some anti-inflammatory properties too. so it’s weird that my enthesitis would flare up like this.
has anyone else noticed anything similar? i’m gonna talk to my doc about it, but i’m curious if there’s any correlation here. fwiw, i’m on 1mg ozempic, injected subq once a week.
