Endo surgery recovery

dunno why nobody talks about this but post surgery recovery for endo is a whole thing. i’ve had a few surgeries and each time it’s like, the doc says you’re fine and then you’re on your own. i’ve been tracking my glucose and symptoms since i switched to inositol and it’s been interesting to see how they correlate, especially after surgery.

has anyone else noticed a difference in their symptoms after endo surgery? like, i know it’s not a cure or anything but it feels like nobody really talks about the recovery process. i’ve been trying to log everything in a spreadsheet to see if i can spot any patterns, but it’s hard when you’re still figuring out what’s going on with your body.

anyone have any tips for tracking symptoms post surgery?

sometimes i feel like docs just expect us to magically know how to track symptoms after surgery. you said “nobody really talks about the recovery process” and that’s so true. i’ve been trying to log my own flares and it’s hard to spot patterns when you’re still figuring out what’s going on with your body. i use reminders to check in with myself daily, it helps me stay on top of things. ngl the part about correlation b/w glucose and symptoms is really interesting, have you noticed any specific triggers that set off your symptoms after endo surgery

when you say “log everything in a spreadsheet,” what specific metrics are you actually putting in there that feel useful? bc “symptoms” can be pretty vague.
