Endo pain and diet - when did you see changes?

hey everyone, just had excision surgery back in march for endo on my left uterosacral ligament and pouch of douglas. things were going okay for a bit, but now my cyclical pain on the left side is starting to creep back in. it’s not as bad as before, but it’s definitely noticeable and i’m worried about it escalating. i’ve been trying to get a handle on an anti-inflammatory diet, but honestly, it feels like throwing darts in the dark.

i’ve read all the lists: no gluten, no dairy, no red meat, tons of veggies, healthy fats. i’ve been cutting things out and trying to track how i feel, but it’s so hard to distinguish between general endo pain, post-surgical healing twinges, and actual diet reactions. the free-text journal feature in CareClinic has been a lifesaver for noting down what i eat and how i feel each day, but pulling a clear pattern is still a struggle. i’m wondering for those of you who’ve focused on diet for endo pain management, how long did it take before you noticed a real difference?

are we talking weeks, months? did specific foods make a huge impact, either way? i’m trying to stay consistent but also kind of dreading eating anything if it’s all just going to inflame things again. any advice on how to approach this without losing my mind?
