so i’ve been logging every meal and my reactions for like 2 months now, down to portion size, time of day, how fast the reaction hit. my doc glances at it for 30 seconds and moves on. makes me wonder if i’m overthinking this. like, do they actually need to see that i had 3 oz of chicken with lemon and 2 cups of spinach at 6:15pm and the flushing started at 6:47?
or does it matter more that i just note “chicken = reaction” and move on. i know timing matters for tryptase tests and stuff, so timing has to matter for food logs too, right? but every allergist gives different instructions. one wanted just a list, another wanted times, the current one just…
doesn’t seem to engage with the log at all. anyone else bring a super detailed log and have it actually help? or is there a format that actually gets your doc to take it seriously and spot patterns? i’m doing the reintro protocol too so the log is already exhausting, don’t want to spend energy on detail that doesn’t matter.
