Do good weeks make the next flare worse

had three days where pain sat around a 3 instead of my usual 5-6. didn’t change anything, same PT routine, same sleep, same pacing. just… easier.

figured i’d take it. then day four hit at a 7 and i’ve been stuck there for two days now. genuinely asking if this is a pattern. like does the nervous system do something during low-pain windows that sets up a harder rebound?

or is it just bad luck that a flare happened to follow the good stretch and my brain is connecting them bc of the timing? because right now it feels like 3 days of relief costs a week of 7s. and i don’t know if that’s real or if i’m just catastrophizing bc the contrast is brutal when you drop from a 3 back to a 7. does anyone actually track whether their post-good-stretch flares are worse than random flares, or does it just feel that way?
