Did you know Ostomy Gas at night doesn’t have to ruin your sleep?

Living with an ostomy comes with its quirks, and dealing with gas at night can be a real struggle. The gurgling sounds, the unexpected odor—yeah, it’s a lot. I remember reading that certain foods like beans, broccoli, and carbonated drinks can make it worse, but then I found out small changes—like eating smaller meals and adding things like white rice or bananas—can actually help tone it down.

I also learned there are things like charcoal filters for the pouch and even gas relief tablets (with a doctor’s okay, of course). It’s not one-size-fits-all though—some stuff works for me, some doesn’t. So now I’m curious… what’s worked best for you? Are there any tricks you swear by for keeping ostomy gas under control at night?
