Daily Earache and Pressure with Mild Dizziness

I’ve been experiencing daily earaches for the past three months. The pain can last anywhere from half an hour to about 4 hours, and it affects either my right or left ear (but never both at the same time). The pain feels like pressure, and I also have a sensation of fullness in both ears. Occasionally, I experience mild lightheadedness, though it’s not severe. I haven’t had any issues with hearing loss.

Initially, my GP thought it was a common ear infection and prescribed Amoxicillin and eardrops, but they’ve had no effect. I was then referred to an ENT specialist, who performed several tests and found no issues, saying my ear canals appear normal. I’m now scheduled for an MRI, but the wait is several weeks.

As a self-employed individual, I’m unable to work right now. The ENT specialist believes it will improve on its own, but there’s been no sign of progress so far.

I’ve done some of my own research and, based on my mild dizziness and lack of hearing loss, I’ve ruled out many common causes. The conditions that seem to best match my symptoms are Meniere’s disease or Labyrinthitis, but the absence of hearing loss and only mild dizziness seem to exclude these… or do they?

I’d really appreciate any advice from others who’ve experienced similar issues.
